Humanitarian Settlement Services
Kildonan delivers Humanitarian Settlement Services to individuals and families who have recently been granted entry to Australia on humanitarian grounds. The intense support is provided on arrival and throughout the initial settlement period, through a coordinated case management approach.
Services are provided to clients on the assessed needs of the individual or family and may include:
It is expected these settlement outcomes will generally be reached between 6 to 12 months of the client’s arrival, but may be extended in particular cases.

HSS services are delivered by Kildonan UnitingCare in the North East Region of Victoria as part of the HSS Consortium. The Consortium is led by Adult Multicultural Education Services (AMES) and comprises a team of organisations working together to provide settlement services across Victoria. Locally Kildonan works closely with GOTAFE in the provision of services.
